Batangas hosts Southern Tagalog Cooperative Congress in Lipa

Co-op leaders adopted a 2026-2028 strategic plan at the Lipa City Convention Center. The province reports three billion-peso cooperatives.

Cooperative leaders from across CALABARZON adopted the Southern Tagalog Cooperative Development Council's Strategic Plan for 2026-2028 during the 20th Southern Tagalog Cooperative Congress, held October 7 to 9 at the Lipa City Convention Center.

The provincial government, which hosted the congress through its Provincial Cooperative and Livelihood Enterprise Development Office (PCLEDO), reported P17.5 million in cooperative loan assistance and P2.05 million in individual livelihood assistance from July 2025 to June 2026.
