Taal Heritage Town

Spanish-era ancestral houses, quiet stone streets and the town's famous crafts: hand embroidery and the balisong knife.

Taal is one of the best-preserved colonial towns in Luzon. Many ancestral houses line its streets, and several are open to visitors as museums.

The town is also known for traditional crafts, including hand embroidery for barong and the balisong (butterfly knife), and for local food such as tapang Taal.
